Helping seniors to maintain their independence and dignity while providing compassionate support where they need it brings me a great sense of joy. I am a deeply caring, dedicated, intuitive and passionate caregiver that loves meeting the individual needs of my clients. Solving problems that seniors face is one of my strengths. I believe in collaboration with the other members of the care team (when applicable), excellent communication with my clients and their families is a top priority. It is an honor and privilege to support people through their senior years. I have completed 75 hours of HCA training through the state of WA and have a wide range of experiences that qualify me to help with seniors. I have been a professional caregiver for a year now and love what I do. Prior to caregiving I was a stay at home mom raising my two children. Before being home with my children I was a professional nanny for over 20 years.

I interviewed Melissa for a nanny position with our family. While we ended up hiring someone outside of care.com that was a referral from a friend, I was VERY impressed with how Melissa spoke to her care-giving skills and childcare experience. She has been a nanny for many years, as well as a mother to her own 2 children; and as such she really understands the important role a nanny plays in a family and helping to guide children in their growth to become wonderful little people! Her values of community, learning, and kindness would be a welcome contribution to any family and we would absolutely look to Melissa again if our childcare needs change.
