I've been a nanny for almost 4 years now with a loving family in Lincoln, Nebraska. Before that I was a private caregiver in home for a man with dementia and his wife. I was with them 5 years. My past jobs have been running my own in home daycare for 8 years, working with mentally ill and drug dependent patients with Catholic Charities, and working at Mosaic with developmentally disabled adults. I enjoy loving and caring for people. I'm very patient and fun! I love to be creative with learning and crafts! I have a very laid back personality and communication is important to me. I enjoy staying busy and consider myself a hard worker. My nanny duties currently include getting the kids up and ready for school, activities, etc. Cleaning, organizing, food prep, meals, learning activities, craft time, play dates. Outings such as the zoo, library, pool, museums, gym, walking the dog, outdoor playtime, creative play, etc. I'm also really good at building blanket forts!

Melissa is an amazing Nanny. She has worked with our family for close to a year. She has years of experience working with children and it shows in how she interacts with them. She is able to keep different aged children occupied with fun as well as learning activities, engages them well in day to day tasks (my son loves vacuuming now), and she does an excellent job with redirection or conflict resolution between kids. She is professional, makes great food, and keeps a clean house. The kids have lots of fun making crafts, playing outside, and baking cookies. I absolutely trust her with my children and my home- a future family will be very lucky to have her!
