About Melissa

Working with children is more than just a job for me, it's my calling. I've been working with children for almost 20 years and have cared for littles from 3 months to 10 years old. I've taken care of twins, siblings, nanny-shared for 2 babies, and cared for 4 children at a time. I practice respectful caregiving, am an LGBTQIA2S+ ally, and have worked with lesbian mothers. I'm proud to support Spanish-only families to maintain their cultures and to learn important words in your child's first language(s). I've worked with families from Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, India (Telugu), Mexico, and the Philippines. I'm so fortunate to have learned some practices and traditions from the Jewish (kosher), and Hindu (vegetarian) families I've worked with as well. I'm fully vaccinated, boosted, mask in public indoor spaces, and am happy to follow any Covid protocols that make you feel comfortable.
