About Melisa

During my college years I was a caretaker for a couple of different clients. I grew very close to them while I took care of them. After earning a bachelor's degree as well as a masters degree in Educational Leadership, during my 17 year career as an educator, I took a second job caring for the elderly in the evenings. A caretaker should be a friend, someone you trust, and someone to laugh with. Recently, because of my passion for being a companion to the elderly, I have begun caring, cleaning, and doing errands for seniors in need. Seniors need to feel safe, valued, and cared for in their late years. I understand how scary it can be to be so reliant on others after a lifetime of being independent. I have a valid fingerprint clearance card and I have references from current and past clients I'm excited to meet my future companions, as I am lucky to be the person they can share their wisdom with while feeling valued and respected.
