About Melisa

My name is Melisa and my passion and life's work is working with kids. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2006 and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2010. I have 15 years of teaching experience in grades K-8, and 2 years of working as an Instructional Coach in the Glendale Elementary School District. Additionally, I have worked as a caregiver for the elderly. I have 4 beautiful kids and many nieces and nephews who I love to spend my time with. My children are 21, 16, 13, and 10. We have plenty of fur babies at home as well. I recently had to leave the classroom to become more available to take care of my daughter who has special needs. As a devoted educator I was putting in close to 60 hours per week away from home. I finally took the leap and decided to try something new that would still allow me to have a positive impact on kids, and/or the elderly. Please reach out if you would like additional information.
