About Melinda

Hello! My name is Mindy. Im 38 and a single mom to an amazing 14-year-old! I have been babysitting since I was 12 and adore children. I was employed at an AFB for 5 years and was a lead teacher for two and a half of those years. I spent 8 years working in the childcare for the YMCA and I did respite for a child with special needs the last 4 years, until they recently moved. I currently work at an elementary school and love it! I work until 1:45 M-F, so I'm looking for something that would work around that. My daughter has some health issues, so I also have experience in that department too. Children have always been a big passion of mine and I find it rewarding to have a positive impact on a child's life. I believe in learning through active play, I'm patient, kind and have lots of love to give. I have experience with infants, toddlers, preschool and school age! I put a general time for availability, but I do have some flexibility! Look forward to hearing from you!
