About Melinda

I worked in day care centers, I also worked as a preschool teacher. I went to a year of college planning on becoming a teacher but instead became a police officer, once I had a family of my own I became a homemaker. I home schooled all 3 of my children in preschool and I believe our children are the most important and precious gifts given to us and should be treated with patience and understanding. My children are all in school full time and I had been employed as a substitute teacher at my children's school however I was constantly there. I felt as if my children needed me home so this year I have taken a break but I would still like to occupy some of my time by caring for children part time. I have experience with newborns and up. I believe every child deserves positive examples to help build a strong child.
