About Melike

My name is Melike. I am 25 years old, and I came to the U. S. from Turkey as an au pair. I have four years of professional childcare experience, during which I cared for children aged 2, 6, 7, 12, and 15. I also spent one year taking care of a newborn and a 7-year-old while continuing my work as a teacher. For the past five months, I've been caring for a newborn baby whom I absolutely adore. However, due to the long commute to the family's home, I'm currently looking for a new position closer to where I live. This decision has nothing to do with the child-I genuinely love the baby and this role-but I believe finding a nearby position will allow me to give my best energy and time to the next family I work with. I have a strong understanding of child psychology, which helps me approach each child with patience, empathy, and care. I have a New Jersey driver's license and my own car, allowing me to safely transport children to school, activities, and other programs.
