About Melany

Hello! My name is Melany and I am 21 years old. I have worked as a CNA for 4 years. I currently work for Hartford Healthcare as a PCT. From hospital care to nursing homes to assisted living and home care I absolutely love my job and whatever I do and all my patients get treated like family. I am great at being able to redirect and console patients and love spending time doing the little things like board games, watching tv or just even having a conversation. According to many of my patients and even coworkers, my positive attitude and outgoing personality is SO CONTAGIOUS! I am very patient, kind and understanding of everyone and every situation. I am efficient at problem solving and am quick on my feet. I am a fast learner and adapting to patient and family needs is very important so I work very hard to become acclimated. I am very educated in Alzheimer's and dementia care as well as working with a wide span of patients with different needs and limitations. I can DO IT ALL!
