About Melanie

I am organized, tidy, and patient. I like working with kids because they are imaginative, silly, observant, and joyful. I'm looking for a job that allows me to utilize and leverage my knowledge while supporting other families and my own. I started working with kids when I was a teen, teaching swim lessons for the parks and rec department and babysitting. I then went on to nanny and work at summer camps during my college years. With my degree, I worked several years at an art museum in the education department. I worked from home the past several years and struggled to balance my career with available childcare. I understand that finding dependable quality care for young children is a daunting task and entrusting someone to care for your child while you go to work can be very difficult and filled with many emotions.
