Hi there! I'm looking for part-time babysitting gigs, like date nights or partial days (can include pickup and/or dropoff). Open to recurring gigs if the fit is right, as well as pet sitting. I am taking a hiatus from teaching full time to be home with my 1yo while my husband works full time. Because of this, I'm looking more for a day or two a week for a few hours at a time. If the job allows, I would love to be able to bring my daughter with me if the schedules align. She's fun and outgoing, and is always interested in new people and places. Certified middle grades educator with 12 years experience in language arts, social studies, math, and technology (basic computer science skills). 20 years of paid experience in childcare outside of the classroom. CPR/First Aid certified; pet-friendly; experienced with all ages.

Melanie is an absolute delight. My family and I warmed up to her and her sweet daughter right away. She is genuinely friendly and kind and is a great communicator. She has been a wonderful nanny to our toddler. I love that she is a mother herself; it makes trusting her with our kiddo that much easier. We are so grateful to have connected with her and look forward to continue working with her. We would highly recommend her!
