About Melanie

I am a former teacher (with a current Class 1 Fingerprint clearance card) and preschool business owner looking for occasional weekend or evening jobs. I have fostered four children, been a nanny to 5, taught hundreds and raised 3 of my own. I am comfortable with many children or just one! I love animals almost as much as kids! My philosophy is play equals learning! Kids are learning with everything they do-it may be math when we play cards or monopoly or how to take turns with a toy. I am always present and available to assist with problem solving techniques and love love love to hear a child say "I did it".
