About Melanie

I am a full time college student in a 2-year sonogram program. I am looking for work as a babysitter on weekends and my off days. I am told that I am encouraging, creative, down to earth, and confident. I am a firm believer in communication with parents, learning, and implementing their goals, standards, and rules. I started babysitting when I was in high school. I was credentialed in CPR/First Aid by the American Heart Association. I also did dog and house sitting. During school breaks I worked as a full time nanny. I tutored and did light housework as well. In high school I studied for and became a certified EMT. The summer I graduated I worked full time at a Dallas Emergency Room. Because of my college classes I have a strict schedule but can be flexible with enough notice. Being a prior EMT and continuing to advance my education I consider myself a very responsible and reliable caregiver.
