About Melanie

Hi! I'm Melanie and I feel confident in my skills, natural abilities and experience to connect with babies and children on their level and foster their development in a fun, safe and engaging way. I've had nearly 20 years of joyful experience caring for children of all ages. I have provided nurturing care for younger children and I've as well spent time teaching older children. In recent years I've focused on caring for little ones up to age 4 in a warm and nurturing nursery environment. I love facilitating age-appropriate developmental activities, such as interactive floor play, singing, reading, playing with learning g toys and games as well as exploring the outdoors safely. I always make certain that basic needs are met, from regular diaper changes to bottle feeding and keeping little ones well-fed and hydrated. Cleanliness and organization are important to me. I am also the proud mom of a young adult, so I truly understand the joys and challenges of raising a child.
