About Melanie

I have worked with the elderly for the past year, at Sierra Valley rehab center. I was a cook, but also was trained as a dietary specialist. I loved working with the clients, met a lot of amazing people, and love hearing about their life experiences. I enjoy not only being able to help someone in need, but able to build new friendships as well. I am a very empathetic and caring person that loves to clean and cook for others. I also took care of my grandparents for the last couple years of their lives, having dementia, to the point of not knowing who I was on some occasions. I raised my own 4 wonderful children whom are now grown and on there own so it will be a blessing to be able to put my care giving skills to use with another family. I am not certified on paper, but I can assure you your loved one will be safe with me.
