About Melanie

I'm a childcare provider with 6 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I've always been passionate about working with children and helping them learn and grow. My College Degree, early child development coursework and mothering three children for the past 24 years have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. I'm also First Aid and CPR certified. I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and compassion. I strive to create a positive and nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and learn. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I love to play games and have fun with children. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, as I believe that structure is important for children's development. I follow the parents' preferred communication method to keep them informed about their child's day and any issues that arise.
