I have 14 years of childcare experience, 3 of which were spent in a Pediatric Emergency Room where I received my infant CPR certification. I own my own car and clean driving record. I'm best with 0-3 kiddos from ages 0-13, but have experiences with up to 5 (for one off requests) and up 16-year-olds. I have a college degree in British Literature and a minor in Early Childhood Development and have a 5 year goal of publishing a children's book and opening a playspace/cafe for children and parents to enjoy. Melanie watched our 8 month old on short notice. She took charge playing with our daughter, overcoming our daughter's stranger danger and distracting her from our departure. She touched base partway through the afternoon and was very quick with communication before and during the time she was hired. Was very warm, confident, and obviously experienced with children. Will definitely have her back again.
