I have always enjoyed taking care of animals from an early age, when I had hoped to become a veterinarian. I have been a dog and cat owner for years, and have been a pet sitter for several families, including walking, feeding, etc. I recently volunteered for several months at the Carlsbad Humane Society working as a dog walker. This included cleaning cages and washing toys. If I could work in an animal hospital, I would! Animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. Anything I can do to help them feel loved and protected is what I enjoy.
