About Melanie

I like working with kids because they remind us to appreciate the little things in life. As we've gotten older, we sometimes forget what it's like to be a child again, and not take life too seriously. I'm looking for a job that is an amazing fit, both for me and the family, and especially the kid(s). I started working with kids when I was a senior in high school. I have always loved little kids and found them to be a joy to be around. In my spare time, I like to spend time traveling and learning Spanish. Travel has become such a big part of my life I have already been to 16 different countries and counting. I have lived in several different places throughout the years after graduating college. One thing you should know about me is that I have a very hands on approach and will really get to know your child(ren). I'm very attentive to detail and could spend all day talking about their favorite thing, playing hide and seek, tag, etc. I won't just be in the background observing.
