About Melanie

I have had a variety of pets throughout my life. I own my ranch. I am able to care for a variety of critters. I have worked closely with veterinarians over the years and have a good working knowledge. I have assisted in medical procedures and the administration of different medications. Current animals that I have are dogs, cat, goats, sheep, horses, variety of birds, guinea pigs and fish. I use to raise and show rabbits when I was younger. I now raise and show guinea pigs (Cavy) and miniature horses as my main hobbies. I do my own farrier work with my hooved animals. I have done a lot of training, retraining and rehabilitation work with various animals. I do actual rescue work completely out of my own pocket and looking to supplement that work.
