About Melanie

I'm an experienced caregiver with three years of experience caring for children of various ages, I'm confident in my ability to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for your child. My patient and calm demeanor, combined with my creativity and imagination, allows me to engage children in a variety of activities that encourage learning and play. I prioritize open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to discuss their child's day and address any issues that arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring that children understand and follow them. From outdoor sports and physical games to board games and educational activities, I enjoy a variety of games that promote both fun and learning. I'm a junior at UCSB majoring in psychological and brain science, and I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I'm also CPR-trained and willing to assist with meal preparation, helping with homework and transportation.
