Showed up for her interview even though holiday shopping traffic was horrible, but I'm not sure why she bothered. Sat down to talk about the job and she immediately picked up her phone and started texting someone when I started talking about what we needed for our special needs son. I stopped talking once it was clear that it wasn't just a quick text, and just stared at her for about 2 minutes before she even noticed. The only question she asked was "can I set my own rate or do you set the pay rate". She clearly didn't like the answer even though what we were offering was the same as max that she has listed as her rate range here on the care.com site.
