I have 7+ years of experience caring for children: I have worked as a nanny to infants and toddlers ages 0-3, a babysitter to children ages 10 and under, and a speech therapist (SLPA) to over 175 adolescents of preschool and elementary ages in LaPorte and New Prairie school districts. (However, my favorite population to work with is babies and toddlers!) I have my own car for reliable transportation, and I am friendly with / open to family pets. I love to engage children through story time, musical activities, snack time, creative play, arts-and-crafts, and outdoor activities when the weather is nice. Meg took care of our 10+ month old for the summer, and we had a great experience working with her! She kept him on schedule, sang & read, had fun with outdoor play, and documented the day. He became more vocal and learned new gestures during their time together, and walked on their last day as a sweet farewell! It was apparent that she loved spending days with him and he was always happy to see her, which you love to see as a parent. Thank you Meg!
