I believe that every kid and every human is full of potential! Children with special needs are a gift, just as children of typical development. I have studied occupational therapy for the past 5 years at Ithaca College in upstate New York. As an OT student I have a vast understanding of childhood development as well as social, physical and mental health diagnoses. My goal would be to help a family and child address their challenges in engaging in meaningful activities at home as a family. As a caretaker I could provide potential helpful and creative ways to make life at home a tad bit easier with the families' goals/needs at the forefront of mind!
