About Meghan

I have two dogs of my own. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter from 1999-2000, while I was going to school. I also used to pet-sit for various people throughout the years. I worked in a veterinary office as a veterinary assistant for about a year. And did kennel work. I am very knowledgeable with dogs. I also do equestrian, so I am also good with horses, though I still need to learn more when taking care of horses. I am comfortable with all other animals except for birds. Depending on the circumstance I can administer medication if needed. Even before I adopted my first dog I have always been very passionate about animals. But since the day we brought her home I have been even more so. Its amazing how they can change your life on so many levels. And I think all pet owners can relate.
