I am 30 years old and am married with three children. 5 years ago I adopted a 3-year-old son with Pervasive Developmental Disorder and ever since I have made myself an expert on special needs. I have studied many types of disabilities. I became a CNA in 2013 and worked in that field for two years. Then I became a job coach for adults and teenagers with Disabilities at the ARC of Yates in Penn Yan, NY. Not long after, I became an Assistant Manager of an Art Studio Program for adults with developmental disabilities. After my husband got a job in FL, we moved to Port Orange and now I work a day job at the ARC of Volusia. I absolutely love this work and have a huge passion for it.
