Hi ! My name is Meghan I am a licensed speech language pathologist, who is not currently practicing due to being a stay at home mom! I'm hoping to care for your child in my home. It would just be myself, my 2-year-old son and 8-month-old daughter, and your child during the day-so lots of one-on-one attention, but also social interaction! We are located near RTP. Before I was an early intervention SLP, and a full-time nanny for many years. In my home, I would offer your child a loving and language rich learning environment with lots of fun play activities, such as reading, walks, age-appropriate toys, etc. I am fully vaccinated! Please let me know if this sounds like something you're interested in. Thank you!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Meghan care for our son, J., from 5 months to 21 months old, and I can say without hesitation that she has been one of the biggest blessings to our family. From day one, she made J. feel like a true part of her family. Her warmth, kindness, and patience are unmatched, and it's clear that her heart is fully invested in the well-being of every child she cares for. She’s incredibly present and intentional, and her top priority is always the children—both her own and those she is caring for. Her background as a speech pathologist was an amazing bonus—she played a huge role in helping J. develop language and communication skills at an early age. I truly believe her guidance and expertise are part of the reason he picked up words and speech so quickly. She is also deeply committed to learning and growth, both for herself and the children in her care. When we discovered J. had some neck restrictions, she didn’t hesitate to dive into research and find ways to support his development in everyday routines. That level of dedication and thoughtfulness is so rare and something we will always be grateful for. She’s incredibly communicative and adaptable—always keeping us informed, adjusting with every new milestone, and genuinely partnering with us through each stage of J.’s growth. On top of that, she was always so warm and kind to us as parents during every drop-off and pick-up, which made the entire experience feel even more supportive and comforting. If it weren’t for the blessing of me becoming a stay-at-home mom come May, she would absolutely still be caring for our son. Any family would be honored to have her as their caregiver—she truly becomes a part of your village, and the impact she leaves is lifelong. We will forever be thankful for her.
