About Meghan

Besides babysitting as a young teenager, my caregiving experience began at 15, when I volunteered to work with cognitively impaired adults. By 17, I was spending my summer working with cognitively impaired children. For the past four years, I have had the privilege to care of two children (now teenagers!), one with non-verbal autism. I am CPR certified and first aid trained. I would consider myself an active and creative person, with a passion for learning! I am starting my junior year at Wayne State, on track to major in Psychology and minor in Art. One of the greatest lessons the kiddos have taught me over the years is the importance of a positive and compassionate attitude!
