About Megan

I worked at a retirement community for almost 5 years--from high school into my second year of college. While I was working in the community's restaurant and cafe, I spent much of my time building relationships with the residents. I enjoyed getting to know them on individual levels and hearing all of their life stories. I know they enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed theirs. Many of them had lost their partners and did not have their family visit often, so those of us who saw them throughout the week strive to help them fill the loneliness they felt. I loved my job and all of the people I met while working at the community.
