About Megan

I have been a tutor all through High School for French and I also tutored elementary students in all subjects. In college, I was a teaching assistant for the Economics Department at UNC Chapel Hill. I taught an Introductory Economics Class, held office hours, and tutored students in Economics. I was also an ESL tutor at an elementary school in Chapel Hill, Rashkis Elementary. I focused on phonics and phonemic awareness with my first grade students. Now I am a Teacher for America, first grade teacher. I have been highly trained by Teach for America in teaching literacy, along with all other elementary subjects. I am also special education teacher, so I have training in that area as well.
