About Megan

As a nurturing individual with two years of experience as a childcare provider, I'm passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. My journey in childcare began during COVID when I cared for an infant, a 5-year-old, and a 8-year-old. I was focused on care of the infant during school hours and would coordinate pick up, prepare meals, go shopping, and take the older kids to their afternoon activities. I coordinated with the parents and grandparents to accommodate a busy extracurricular schedule. I have experience with overnight care, sole weekend care when parents were out of town and joining families on vacation. My patient and calm demeanor, combined with my friendly and approachable nature, allows me to connect easily with children and build trust. I prioritize open communication with parents. I follow their preferred communication method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular texts or phone calls.
