I have worked in childcare and pet care for over 25 years. I have been a kindergarten and early child development teacher, teacher's assistant, assistant childcare director, a babysitter, long-term nanny/house assistant, and pet sitter. I have a 21-year-old son in the Army, an orange tabby cat named Theodore and a 9-month-old golden retriever named Oliver. I enjoy putting smiles on little faces and helping children learn the things they need to grow. I became certified as a Newborn Care Specialist in March of 2011. My Bachelor's degree is in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Autism and I am currently enrolled at the University of California Santa Barbara working on courses to become a Child Life Specialist. Megan was on top it from the moment we reached out to her. My husband and I were traveling in from New York and needed a babysitter for a night. Megan showed up early and prepared with a whole box of coloring books and toys. It was perfect for us sent we came empty handed. We got back to the hotel with baby put to sleep and changed and ready for the evening. Highly recommend Megan!
