I am extremely passionate about elderly care and genuinely enjoy spending my time with them. I was very close to studying gerontology in college, however decided on marine biology because I ultimately knew I could more easily work in elderly care during my time off, rather than vice versa. I've spent many years volunteering in nursing homes around the country, have been hired as a private caregiver for an elderly woman, and also have numerous first response trainings. In fact, I once performed CPR on an elderly man and he lived, and is to this day one of my good friends!
