Prior to moving to Dallas, I worked as a therapeutic recreation assistant for children and young adults (ages 3-21 years old) in an after-school care and summer camp setting. I also have two years experience as a paraprofessional educator in a severe behavior needs classroom, grades 4 and 5. In addition to caring for children with severe physical needs, I also have experience in working with children on the Autism spectrum and children that are non-verbal and/or have severe cognitive delays.
