About Megan

I am a current student at the University of Central Missouri studying Elementary Education. I am 23 years old and I have taken a babysitting class. I am certified in CPR, AED and First Aid training for all ages. While I was in high school, I was a full-time nanny for a 2-year-old. My daily duties were to take him to day care in the morning, when I got out of school, I would go pick him up and take care of him until bed time (bathing, feeding, dressing, playing with). I would stay with the family when needed and have the child all day. As well as being a nanny for this family, I was a babysitter of two boys once a week. I would simply put them to bed and be there if they needed anything. I did many babysitting jobs while in middle and high school. Before moving to Warrensburg for school, I was a lifeguard for the city of Overland Park for 6 years. Within those 6 years, I taught swim lessons for all ages and coached a noncompetitive swim team. This past summer, I was the manager at a neighborhood pool and taught private swim lessons to children. My time at Warrensburg I tutored a young lady and worked in many elementary schools around Missouri.
