About Megan

The past 7 month I spent as an au pair on Maui for a family with a 6, 5, and 3-year-old. I believe in living life with a sense of humor and compassion. Being involved in children's lives through different developmental stages is a wild ride, and I believe in children being allowed to feel their emotions while still setting boundaries to guide them to becoming smart, communicative, and kind humans. I'd describe my personality as witty, empathetic, and reasonable. I like working with kids because they are learning to navigating their minds and the world around them, and it is wonderful to be a part of that journey. I started working with kids when I was a recreational gymnastics coach throughout college. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dog, watch a good show, spend time with family and friends, and weightlift.
