About Megan

Hello! My name is Megan, I am a young lawyer in the Cumberland area looking for extra income to help pay off my student loans. I have a bachelors degree from Frostburg State University in psychology, minors in women's studies and sociology. While in college I was in an honors fraternity, tutored various subjects, and was invited to develop coursework for undergraduate psychology students. Before going to law school, I worked with emotionally & behaviorally challenged children at Maryland Salem Children's Trust in Garrett County. I am a licensed residential center youth care practitioner, as well as certified in CPR. Additionally, I have 10+ years of classical music training as a cellist and can tutor cello & basic music theory. I am not fluent in Spanish but I'm comfortable teaching the basics of grammar, sentence structure, conjugation, and common words. I have a year of experience as a newborn caregiver, as well as 2 years of experience working with teenagers and young adults.
