About Megan

I have child development experience with all ages/abilities, one-on-one and in large groups, in classrooms and outdoor ed. I've taught ESL in Honduras, third grade. I've taught Montessori age 3-6. In 2016 I earned my VA teaching license. I've taught 7th grade English in Richmond, VA Public Schools. I have worked with exceptional needs children throughout my career: students on the spectrum, ODD, epilepsy, ADHD, EBD (trauma). I have reading intervention experience, and love working with students with dyslexia. I am a Yoga Teacher and a writer and a gardener and many other hats. My educator "toolkit" includes: a) outdoor/env. education b) reading for play and creative writing instruction c) empowering young women, and all teens, through role modeling and Yoga.
