About Megan

I'm 36 and have worked with children from 2006 to 2016 as a swim instructor, and since 2011 as a care provider for families with multiple kids of all ages and abilities. I have a 2-year-old son, so the newborn/infant skills are still fresh! I'm a stay at home mom and work hard to give my son the skills and knowledge he needs to be independent, while still making each day fun. If you want socialization for your little one, bringing him along actually opens up more hours for me! I am not officially certified to handle special needs children but I have held that position many times. I research when I need to and learn and adapt quickly. Animals of any sort are no problem for me. I have a big goofy dog and tarantulas. I also have a biology degree through Old Dominion University, focusing on zoological ecology. I'm an artist in my spare time, and I love to teach people of all ages my techniques and how to be creative. I swim well and enjoy staying active and being outside.
