Hello! I'm Megan. I've been working with children since I was in high school- Graduated from Whittier Tech in Early Childhood. Currently pursuing my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, triple minoring in Psychology, Deaf Studies, and Health & Society. I love working with children; My specialty is with infants & toddlers but have worked with preschoolers-preteens too. I love being a part of their growing process & seeing a child learn new things daily. Seeing the twinkle in their eye and the huge smile of accomplishment when they master a new skill is a wonderful feeling- that I absolutely cherish being a part of. I have intermediate knowledge of American Sign Language, having taken ASL1-3 (will be taking ASL 4 as well). My husband and I were super nervous hiring a first time babysitter since this is our first child, and let me tell you, Megan was the perfect person for us. She was extremely understanding of everything I asked, even if I was nervous about something. The entire process with Megan was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she put our minds to ease, but she somehow was able to make our 9 month old fall asleep during a wedding. Absolutely fantastic skills, very professional and comforted my child when he needed it. I felt completely comfortable leaving my child in the care of Megan.
