About Megan

I come from a big family (5th of 6 children) in which my parents instilled in us great responsibility through household chores, cooking, baking, farm chores and caring for each other. My extended family is also very large - full of many aunts, uncles, and cousins. I grew up with a lot of younger cousins - therefore I have been surrounded by children all my life. I started babysitting for relatives when I was 11. Through my babysitting, I developed a love and passion for children - their laughter, the way they learn and see the world, their innocence, their imagination, their love for so much, etc. I continued to babysit, work in daycare's, work in preschools, help in classrooms and hold long-term nanny positions through my middle school, high school and college years. Through this experience, my passion and compassion for children has only grown stronger. I have developed patience, a love for cleaning houses, different ideas for play and a caring and loving heart for helping families!
