My name is Megan. I am 29 years old and live in Jenkintown, PA. I have been a special education teacher for 7 years. I have been babysitting and working with children of all ages for about 15 years. When babysitting I maintain a safe environment at all times and happily interact with the children which I enjoy very much. Some of my most recent experiences are babysitting for a family of four all under the age of 6, a family of three all under the age of 4. I also have experience caring for multiple children with autism and a child with Down syndrome.

Megan was my full-time nanny for the summer of 2014 with my first child. I went back to work when my daughter was 4 months old at the end of March, 2014. Megan started when my daughter was almost 6 months old. Megan is also a family member, I hired her when my first nanny from care.com did not work out. After letting that nanny go, I had various family members cover until Megan would be done school for the summer, as my husband and I would not trust anyone else with our daughter. All kids love Megan for her joyfulness, upbeat and extremely patient nature. Megan is not a TV watcher which I also find rare in a nanny. She just played with my daughter literally all day... tummy time, peek-a-boo, read books, and went for walks. She has a 6th sense for what babies and children want and can read them really well, which lessened the frustration for my daughter when she was unable to communicate. Megan still babysits for me on weekends. Her going back to school was devastating for me and my husband as it meant we had to find someone that could actually take her place. We got lucky with a family friend that became available but there's no one like Megan. Megan is one of the actual "care"givers on this website who's bio gives an authentic picture of who she is.
