I have worked both in one on one settings caregiving for people with special needs, as well as in group settings. With a cousin with special needs, I grew up babysitting and caring for her for the past 14 years. Additionally, last year I worked at a nonprofit that provides art and music community classes to people with physical and cognitive disabilities. I have truly loved getting to know the beautiful people I have been able to work with through these experiences and have grown so much myself from them. I am hoping to go to graduate school in the next year or two to study counseling, more specifically art therapy. It is such a joy to be a part of these people's lives and to learn what makes them unique and to see them grow.
