About Megan

I've worked in the Medical Field since 2005 specializing in Geriatric Care. I started as a Home Health Aide working for Hospice, then received a position at a Nursing Home where I fell in love with residents suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's. I am a very hard working and compassionate person with a strong sense of integrity. I'm highly educated and trained in Dementia and Alzheimer's. This is where I shine! A calm and structured environment is important, and knowing when a patient is, "Sun-downing," is a must in my line of work. I find that gentle redirection and patience helps eliminate any stress, and or, triggers. I will make sure your loved one gets the best possible care, all the while maintaining dignity, respect, and encouraging independence. My responsibilities also include: ADL's (Activities of Daily Living), meal preparations, housekeeping, companion care, assisting with showers, assisting with medications, pet care, and running errands.
