I have always felt a calling to provide care for children and support families. This lead me to a career in education where I have worked as a special education teacher for 6 years. I also have a year of experienced as a nanny when I watched a little boy alongside my eldest son in the afternoons. I believe my calm and patient personality allowed me to create a nurturing environment where children felt safe and loved in both of these experiences. I have a graduate degree in special education wherein I took several early childhood courses to support all types of learners. I believe in care through play and love getting outside with littles to encourage their exploration of our world. I am currently at home with my youngest son (7mo) and looking for the opportunity to support another family while doing so.
