About Megan

Hi! My name is Megan and I have been working with kids for over a decade in both professional and personal capacities. I currently work in healthcare - interacting closely with kids of all ages - and tutor math and English. I grew up outside of the US in a multicultural household and speak Mandarin. I have worked in multiple countries and have first-hand experience assimilating into different socio-cultural norms which has equipped me with the empathy and language required to engage with families of all cultural and religious backgrounds. My friends, family and colleagues have described me as warm, levelheaded and determined and I believe this translates into my commitments as a caregiver. Since every child's needs are unique, families can expect me to ask questions about routines and expectations so that I can best care for the child(ren). I believe there is no such thing as over-communicating, so families can also expect that I will be reachable and clear throughout.
