I hired Megan after a positive interview and trial period, since she appeared to be a good fit for our family. Unfortunately, after only two days of working with us, she informed me that she would be leaving, stating that she was not a good fit for our family. I found this sudden decision to be unprofessional, especially as she did not provide further explanation or respond to my follow-up messages seeking to understand the situation. This abrupt decision left us without care and led me to miss out on other potential candidates. While she seemed capable during the interview and trial, I was disappointed by the lack of communication and commitment following her decision to quit so suddenly. I hope that in the future, Megan improves her communication and provides more transparency to families she works with.
