I am a Northern Arizona University graduate with a Bachelor's in Special Education and Elementary Education and certified teacher. Special Education is especially important to me because I have a brother with Down syndrome, however, I have a passion for teaching students at all ability ranges and ages. I have three years of experience interning and working in K-5 classrooms. In my lessons, I incorporate multiple learning styles and try to build connections across subjects to strengthen and expand children's understanding of the content. Also, I love to include opportunities for hands-on experiences, play, and creative expression throughout instruction. Beyond teaching, I enjoy gardening, drawing, crafting, and reading. Due to the current situation at hand, I am exploring alternative teaching opportunities that can ensure my well-being as well as those that I work with. I have a lot of ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to offer your children!
