Hello! I have over 12 years of experience working hands on with children during various babysitting/nannying jobs. I also have approximately 7 years of experience working in Home Health Care as a care provider. During these jobs I often worked with individuals living with complex health issues and/or disabilities. I have specific experience with paralyzed individuals, brain injuries, elderly dementia patients, as well as a young child with cerebral palsy. These positions required assistance with feeding, bathing, grooming, bowel programs, diaper changes, and a great deal of compassion and patience. I have my Master's degree in Occupational Science and Therapy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in anthropology. I have been working and living in Colorado as a nationally licensed and certified OT for the past 2 years before moving back to Michigan. During my time in CO I also provided home health care for 2 quadriplegic individuals both in their 20s and 30s.
