About Megan

I truly enjoy working with children. I create a loving environment where children feel support and encouragement. I am attentive, patient and kind. As a childcare professional I provide fun yet educational activities. I wholeheartedly believe in the phrase that active toys make passive babies, passive toys make active babies. Therefore, I do not use electronics such as T. V. or iPads. As an alternative to electronics, I encourage reading, foster fine and gross motor skills, prepare arts and crafts and support the importance of music. I aim to be a great role-model for the children that I work with. I strive to model healthy choices. I eat healthy and I prepare healthy meals and snacks. I am very energetic and athletic. I love to play soccer and hike. I am also responsible and trustworthy. Furthermore, I like to instill the importance of education and independence in children.
